2. What is SWOT analysis? How to develop strategic alternative in the light of SWOT analysis?

3. Explain the concept of SQC. Explain how you can constract control charts for the variables.

4. Define merit rating. Explain and evaluate any four methods of merit rating.

5. Write short notes on:
a) Bin card
b) Closed Vs open stores
c) Material transfer and material return note
d) Stores ledger.

6. Discuss the principles of 'Motion Economy' and explain how they are applicable to
i) Manual operations
ii) Designing work at a work station.
iii) Materials handling.

7. The following information is available about the various activities of a network.
