Time : Three hours

Maximum : 75 marks

1. Section A consists of TEN short answer question. The candidate has to answer FIVE questions. The answer shall not exceed 1 page each.
2. Section B consists of FIVE questions. Each question consists of either or choices and the candidate has to answer either (a) or (b) from each question. The answer shall not exceed 5 pages each.

SECTION A - (5 x 3 = 15 marks)

1. Write briefly on any FIVE of the following:

(a) Difference between international trade and international business.
(b) Internationalization of corporate business.
(c) Characters of multinational company.
(d) Meaning of strategic considerations.
(e) Components of international corporate culture.
(f) Types of international information needed to multinational firm.
(g) Ethnocentric human resource approach.
(h) International logistics.
(i) Multi lateral agreements.
(j) Regional Trade grouping.

SECTION B - (5 x 12 = 60 marks)

2. (a) Establish the need for international business entry for Indian firms.

Or

(b) Explain its advantages and disadvantages of any one international trade theory of your choice.

3. (a) Identify the various strategies in international business and explain them.

Or

(b) What type of organization structure is appropriate for a firm to internationalize its business?

4. (a) Establish the various source of recruitment for higher positions for international posting. Which one is appropriate for India?

Or

(b) "Multinational firms are resorting to scatter the production facilities from various countries". Do you agree? Support your answer.

5. (a) Critically evaluate the hurdles faced by under developing countries from multinational companies.

Or

(b) Identify various regional groups and their objectives.

6. (a) List out the problems faced on Intellectual property rights, rules and regulations of WTO by India.

Or

(b) Write the objectives and functioning of E.U.
