SECTION A - (10 x 3 = 30 marks)

Answer ALL sub-questions.
Each answer should not exceed 50 words.

1. Write short notes on: a. Free consent b. Legality of object c. Novation d. Private Company e. Caveat Emperor f. Transfer of property g. Annual General Meeting h. Mistake of Law i. Lien j. Sleeping Partner

SECTION-B (5x6=30 marks)
Answer any FIVE questions.
All questions carry equal marks.
Each answer should not exceed 300 words.

2. Explain illegal agreements. 3. Explain capacity of parties to enter into contact. 4. Explain misrepresentation. 5. Explain undue influence. 6. Explain remedies for breach of contract. 7. Explain the features of a public limited company. 8. Explain managerial remuneration.

SECTION-C (2x20=40 marks)
Answer BOTH the questions.
All questions carry equal marks.
Each answer should not exceed 1200 words.

9. a. Explain the legal rules to consideration.

Or

b. Explain the important provisions of sale of Goods Act.

10. a. Explain Memorandum of Association.

Or

b. Write a detailed note on meetings and proceedings.
