PART I

1. Explain the significance of developmental tasks.

2. Explain the ethical aspects of research in developmental psychology.

3. Examine the importance of sex-appropriate behaviour in adolescence.

4. Explain the importance of play in late childhood.

PART II

5. What are the -familial sources of stress in adolescence?

6. Explain the effect of maternal stress in-prenatal period.

7. Explain the effect of lack of meaning in life and suggest methods of attaining meaning in life.

8. What is the psychological status of the terminally ill? Suggest methods of helping them.

SECTION B - (3 x 20 = 60 marks)

Answer any THREE questions, selecting a minimum of ONE from each Part.
All questions carry equal marks.
Each answer should not exceed 1,200 words

PART I

PART II

12. Discuss the vocational and marital hazards of middle age.

13. Explain the importance of social support in old age.
