1. GCET-2006 shall be based on the syllabus prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary. Education, Porvorim, for Standard XII (Science) of the Board examination of March 2006 for Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Biology. The syllabus, as obtained from Goa Board, is included in the GCET- 2006 Information Kit.

2. Syllabus for Aptitude Test for B. Arch. is also included in the GCET-2006 Information Kit

3. GCET-2006 papers shall be on the pattern of objective, multiple choices type for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science.

4. A sample format of the Objective Response Sheet (ORS) which shall be used as answer sheet is available at inside cover page of the brochure. Candidates are required to go through the instructions printed on the sample ORS and get familiarized with its use.

5. Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions to be answered in two hours (one hundred & twenty minutes).

6. Each question shall have four choices for answers, out of which only one shall be correct.

7. Correct answer shall carry one mark for each question. Wrong/multiple answers will be awarded zero marks. There will be no negative marking.
