NOTIFICATION
(In terms of G.O. Ms. No. 26 Higher Education (U.E.II (2)) Department, dated 24-3-2004)
ELIGIBILITY FOR LAWCET-2004:
3 year LL.B. / B.L. Course
The Candidates for 3 year LL.B./B.L. should have passed any Degree of a recognised University with 40% marks on the aggregate or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Universities concerned offering Law course, with 40% marks on the aggregate. (39.5% and above will be treated as 40%).
A candidate who has 40% or more in B.Ed. or in the Post Graduate Degree is also eligible to seek admission into Law Course even if he/she secures less than 40% at Degree level. A candidate who has obtained his/her Degree or Post Graduate Degree by single sitting up to the year 1998-1999 may be treated as eligible for admission into Law courses (according to Bar Council of India).
5 year LL.B./B.L. Course:
The Candidates for 5 year LL.B./B.L. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 40% aggregate marks or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P with 40% aggregate marks. (39.5 % and above will be treated as 40%)
Note: There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3year/5year Law courses in favour of the Candidates belonging to S.C/S.T.
A candidate appearing for the above qualifying examinations may also take the Law Common Entrance Test in anticipation of the results.
The candidates who are appearing for supplementary examinations of Degree or Intermediate of 2003-2004 are not eligible to apply.

SALE OF APPLICATIONS:
( A ). Application Form and Instruction Booklet for the Entrance Test can be had from the Convener, LAWCET-2004, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati – 517 502 by sending a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.275/- (which includes cost of application Rs.250/- + postage Rs.25/-) from any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad along with a requisition letter giving full address and specifically mentioning whether it is for 5year/3year LAWCET.
(B) Application forms can also be had across the counters, subject to availability, from the following Head Post Offices in A.P. Circle and also from Sub-Post Offices in the University campuses and e-seva kendras as mentioned below on payment of Rs.250/- only.

Note:
1. If a candidate applies for 3-year law Course on the application meant for 5-year law Course or Vice-Versa, the application will be rejected. 2. The Convener shall not be in anyway responsible for postal delay or loss in transit, or exhaustion of application forms at any sales counters of Post Offices or e-seva Kendras.
3. The Entrance Test is conducted for the seats for which the Government is competent to make admissions. Information relating to admissions will be notified later after the publication of results.
4. Candidates should look into the instruction booklet supplied along with the application form for other criteria and details.
