Eligibility Requirements

B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. under at least 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be a Hons. subject at B.Sc. (Hons.) level/subject studied in all the three parts at Graduate level. However, for admission to M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology a candidate must also have offered Chemistry as one of the subjects at the Graduate level.

Mode of Admission

Admissions are made through an Entrance Examination Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) generally conducted between May/June every year. Notification for the Entrance Examination will be generally released during February every year.

Admission to Foreign Nationals

This course is open for Foreign Nationals as per the rules of the University. The inter-se merit among the applicants of various foreign nationals will be decided by the "Core Committee for Admissions of Foreign Nationals", which shall be deemed as final.
