Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements
B.V.Sc. with Masters degree in concerned discipline. Sixty percent marks in aggregate or above (55% for SC/ST or sponsored candidates) in Masters degree examination conforming to the relevant subject.
Mode of Admission
Admission will be held on the basis of an entrance test and an interview.
Reservations
Fifteen percent seats for scheduled caste, 7.5% seats for scheduled tribe and 3% for physically handicapped candidates will be treated as reserved subject to their being otherwise eligible. The reservation of seats stated above is interchangeable amongst the SC/ST candidates depending upon the availability of such candidates. This reservation is applicable only in case of candidates who take the entrance examination. As far as reserved category is concerned, it will be followed as was adopted last year.
Age Limit
Minimum age limit for M.V.Sc./Ph.D. candidates shall be 20 and 22 years, respectively. Normally there will be no upper age limit. The age shall be reckoned as on 1st September of the academic session.
