MoU facilitates students of global opportunities

The Andhra University (AU) on Monday has signed an MoU with the Alcorn State University in Misissippi of the United States of America. The main aim is to exchange student and teacher programmes of AU received an all time boost. This is the second one while the AU earlier tied up with Kansas State University of Kansas in USA.
The agreement of this MoU will facilitate the intentions of AU to provide its students global opportunities to pursue their academic goal of continuing higher education. The MoU was signed between the Alcorn State University president Clinton Bristow and AU Registrar P.Vijaya Prakash in the presence of the AU Vice Chancellor L.Venugopal Reddy and members of the university executive council.
Speaking on the occasion, Clinton Bristow said that Alcorn State University would be sending around 10 students per year for doing research programmes in business management, engineering, biological sciences, bio-technology, pharmaceutical sciences, computer science and applied mathematics. The students would be selected from the two universities on the basis of excellent academic records and their commitment in doing research work.
