15 more colleges in Srikakulam

According to the Vice Chancellor of Andhra University (AU) L.Venugopal Reddy, Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKCs) would be extended to 15 other colleges this year in Srikakulam district. Addressing a press conference at Etcherla PG Centre, he said four new post graduate courses including organic chemistry were started in the Centre.
He said that to provide inter-departmental connection through computers, nearly 200 computers would be procured by the University. The students appear for GET examination, started by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), he said that the University has received a very good response for five year integrated course in integrated course in Applied Chemistry.
A two day southern regional conference on Management Education of the Association of Indian Management Scholars will be conducted by the Department of commerce at TLN Sabha Hall in AU from Saturday and APSCHE Chairman KC Reddy will be the Chief Guest while AU Vice Chancellor will inaugurate the convention.
