Andhra University - PG Course in Construction Technology

Two year course is BE or AMIE in Civil or Mechanical

A highly job oriented course, the Post Graduation in Construction Technology and Project Management has been introduced at Civil Engineering Department in Andhra University from this academic year. Till now, the course is available only at IIT, Chennai.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, PSN Raju, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering said that the eligibility for the two year course is BE or AMIE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. The classes would run between 6pm to 9.15pm from Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday on self financing basis. He said that at present five seats for engineers. Already working in the industry are available in the college.

The fee of the course is Rs.82,520 per year for general category and Rs.62,520 per year for reserved categories and the course will commence from August 1, 2006. Those interested may contact course coordinator P.Rama Rao on phone number 98481 92738.
