Vice Chancellor stressed the need on quality education

The Andhra University (AU) Vice Chancellor L.Venugoplala Reddy inaugurated a two day Southern Regional Conference on Management Education of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) at Andhra University on Saturday. He stressed the need to focus on quality education in management studies with the srouting of several management schools.
The VC said that the AU would introduce courses which would enhance the employability of the youth. As a part of this, retail management was introduced in the MBA recently.
The Vice Chancellor said that there had been lack of qualified faculty in the management schools and the university was contemplating to make it compulsory to the institutions to have more qualified staff. Founder president of AIMS J.Philip, Arts and commerce College principal JV Prabhakar Rao and others participated in the conference.
