Asks authorities to use the funds for construction of new college building

An alumnus of Andhra University has donated Rs.1 crore to the institution to construct a building for the recently established AU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. K. Paul Thadikonda studied his B.Pharm and M.Pharm in the then Department of Pharmaceutical sciences in the University and worked for the department before leaving to United States of America to do research and settling there.
He approached himself to the Vice Chancellor on Tuesday with the offer of providing a 20,000 sft building for the new college. He donated the sum in memory of his elder son Prasanth and handed over his letter of consent to the VC.
