To collaborate in research in Bio-informatics

The Andhra University (AU) College of Engineering Principal Professor Allam Apparao signed an MoU with Undurti N. Das, the president and Chief Executive Officer of the UND Life Sciences (USA) on collaboration in research in bio-informatics on Sunday. Speaking to media, Prof. Apparao said that the main objective of the MoU was to make an accurate solution for Alzheimer’s diseases.
UN Das said that the UND Life Sciences had engaged in research, particularly bio-informatics and diabetes mellitus and bringing the lab-based advances to the clinics in the form of developing patients, drug development and clinical trials. Dr. GR Sridhar a docrinologist who has a vast experience in these subjects was engaged in the project.
