KRC to provide on line facility
Visakhapatnam, July 2, 2006
The Andhra University (AU) Vice Chancellor L.Venugopal Reddy on Wednesday inaugurated the Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) that will provide online retrieval services to user community of the library of College of Engineering, AU using e-learning using resources through intranet and internet.
The focus of the KRC is to provide online facility using electronic journals and e-books and expanding the intellectual property base through promoting processes of sharing knowledge and exchange of ideas between students and faculty.
The timings of the KRC will be from 10am to 5pm. The AU Registrar P.Vijaya Prakash and AU College of Engineering A.Apparao were present among others.
