The Andhra University will enter a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jackson State University (JSU) of Mississippi in the United States of America to facilitate student exchange programmes between the two universities. The Andhra University Vice Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy revealed this on Wednesday at a press conference.
He said that students could pursue three semesters of their course at AU and complete the final semester at JSU. Similarly, students of JSU can pursue their final semester at Andhra University. The Vice Chancellor said that they would hold deliberations on the courses to be offered, syllabus, fee and other topics before MoU is signed.
A team of JSU visited AU to explore the possible areas of MoU. The team visited various departments and studied the facilities available on the campus. The MoU will be given a final shape following the AU Vice Chancellor’s visit to the JSU in April.
