Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam - Admission Notification 2004

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible women candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh for admission into the following courses for the academic year 2004-2005. The application form on requisition can be obtained by post from the Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam on payment of Rs.250/- (including registration fee) for all courses, through Demand Draft only. The draft should be drawn in favour of the Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati-517 502.

Applications can also be obtained in person from the Administrative Office of the University on production of a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- only, from 26-05-2004 onwards. Bank Challans, Cheques, Money Orders or Cash will not be accepted.

The candidates should submitted for different courses listed under the School of Sciences, Technology & Management (SSTM) or the School of Social Sciences, Languages & Fine Arts (SSSLF) to the respective Deans of Schools, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam College, Tirupathi 517 502. The Name of the course applying for shall be written on the top of the envelope.

The last date for issuing as well as receiving the application is 26-06-2004.

*SPMVVCET Notification was issued separately for M.Sc., Applied Microbiology, M.Sc., Biotechnology and M.Sc., Biochemistry for conducting entrance test, which was published on 1st May 2004 in Eenadu and The Hindu.

**Admissions into MCA, M.B.A (Self-financing) B.Ed., LL.B., and B.Pharmacy courses are governed by the rules of respective statewide Common Entrance Tests. Last date for receipt of applications for these courses would be for 20 days from the date of announcement of the respective CET results.

***For MCA., and MBA., 5% of the sanctioned seats are allowed for admission of NRI/in lieu of NRI candidates. These seats are within the sanctioned intake only. Further, supernumerary seats to the extent of 15% of the sanctioned seats are also allowed for admission of foreign students/persons of Indian origin holding foreign passports. For B.Pharmacy, only supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% of the sanctioned seats are allowed for NRI. Fee particulars for these categories are given in the prospectus.

The University is not responsible for any delay in receipt or loss of applications in postal transit.
