Admission Notification for B.Ed (through Distance Education)

Applications are invited for admission into B.Ed (through distance education) for the academic year 2006-2007 from in-service women teachers working in Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility: Shall be a graduate, B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., having a minimum of two years teaching experience as a full time regular teacher (1) in a Govt.,; Zilla Parishad; Municipalities and other local bodies OR (2) working in a School recognized by the Government. AND their service must have been approved by the authorities of School Education concerned AND all the eligible candidates have to submit the copies of their updated service registers duty authenticated by the appropriate authorities along with the application (Original service registers at the time of admission). Admission will be based on length of service. Preference will be given to secondary school teachers. The prospectus along with the application can be obtained from the undersigned by sending a crossed demand draft for Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, payable at Tirupati, enclosing a self-addressed envelope of 30x20 cm affixing stamps worth Rs. 34/- only. The applications can also be downloaded from the website and DD for Rs. 500/- may be enclosed to the filled in application, if it is a downloaded application.

There will be four study centres located in Andhra, Telangana & Rayalaseema in addition to the nodal centre at Tirupati. Rules of reservation and six-point formula as applicable to S.P.Mahila Visvavidyalayam will be followed. The candidates are advised to write their address on the backside of the Demand Draft.
