Application are invited for the following courses

1. PhD in Mass Communication

Candidates who have completed their master in mass Communication or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute or MA in any other discipline from a recognized University / Institute with o5 years of relevant professional experience Details regarding admission can be obtained from AJKMCRC.

2. MA in Mass Communication

(2 years)-Candidates who have taken their first degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 system or equivalent are eligible to apply provided they have secured 50% marks in their first degree examination. Candidates should not be more than 30 years of ate as on 1-08-2006.

3. PG Diploma in Development Communication

(Self-financing) (1 year)-Candidates who have taken their-first degree with 50% marks.

4. PG Diploma in Journalism

(Self-financing) (1 year)-Candidates who have Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks.

Those who are appearing in their final year of qualifying examinations can also apply for the above courses. Application Form along with the prospectus can be obtained from 17th March, 2006 either directly from the office of the Centre on cash payment of Rs. 300/- between 10.00 a.m. 1.00 p.m. on any working day or by Post along with a Bank Draft for Rs. 380/- in favour of AJK Mass Communication Draft for Rs. 700/- (Non-refundable) as the entrance test fee in favour of AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Payable at Delhi, must reach the undersigned by 5.00 p.m. on or before 17 April, 2006. Application received after prescribed date and time will not be entertained at all.
