About the course

Students admitted to the programme are eligible for the award of M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology on successful completion of the course.

The department offers M.Sc. semester courses in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Metabolism, Molecular Biology and Genetics Engineering, Bioinformatics and Immunology, Plant Biotechnology, IPR, Biosafety, Animal Biotechnology, Immunotechnology, Microbial Technology, Environmental Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering. Students are also assigned with the projects work, review article preparation and seminars. A study tour to undertake hands on experience in a sophisticated industry / institute is compulsory. Students admitted to Gulbarga University will not get any scholarship.
