Candidates who have passed the Bachelors degree of a recognized university (including professional degrees in engineering/technology/Medicine /architecture / agriculture / law) with a minimum of 50% of marks prescribed for the degree or Candidates who have a Masters degree in any subject with 50% marks or Candidates who have passed the Bachelors degree with 3 years experience in supervisory/Managerial/professional cadre, as on 1st July of the academic year of admission (The Equivalence Committee may consider any other degree/qualification as equivalent to the degree of Karnataka State Open University) (*Sponsored candidates shall fulfill any of the above conditions for eligibility) (*SC/St/Category-1 candidates will get relaxation in marks upto 5%)

Mode of Admission

Admission to the MBA degree programme is made on the basis of merit, subject to a minimum of 35% marks in the entrance examination. Reservation of seats will be made as per the existing government orders. The duration of the entrance examination is 2 hours. The entrance examination will be held in Mysore and Bangalore only. The entrance examination, aimed at measuring the general aptitude and decision making ability of the candidate, will be for 100 marks and will consist of 5 sections of 20 marks each: Proficiency in English Language, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness, Test of Reasoning and Case Analysis. Application Forms are generally made available during May/June of the academic year. Application forms may be obtained by post from Registrar (Admissions), KSOU, Manasagangotri, Mysore-570006 by enclosing a crossed DD for Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, KSOU, payable at Mysore.
