Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements

Admission is open to the Master of Business Administration course, to all the candidates who posses a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration recognised by this University. Any other examinations recognised by this University as equivalent thereto. The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less then 50% of the marks in the aggregate in the examinations considered for the award of the class. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/St and any other groups classified by Govt. of Karnataka for such purpose from time to time the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less then 45%.

Mode of Admission

There shall be an entrance examination for admission to MBA course. There shall be an Admission Committee for MBA course in each college consisting of the Principal of the College as Chairman, Head of the Department and one senior staff member of the Department and one Nominee of VTU as its members.The Admission Committee shall conduct the Entrance Examination and shall also conduct the interview of the candidates.The Principals should approach the University for the Nominee of VTU. Based on the performance of the Candidates in the entrance examination, marks in the qualifying examinations and performance in the interview taken together, a ranking list shall be prepared and admission shall be made in order of merit accordingly.
