Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements

Any person who has passed Bachelors Degree of this University in any faculty in Second Class and the Degree of Bachelor of Library Science or Bachelor of Library and Information Science of this University in good Second Class :(i.e. B+), or has obtained qualifications recognised equivalent thereto by this University, shall be eligible for admission to the course for the degree of Master of library and Information Science, after having fulfilled the requirements laid down in the other Ordinances and Regulations relating to the Courses.
Applicants from other Universities are required to submit a provisional certificate of eligibility while enrolling for the course. This provisional eligibility certificate can be obtained from the Registrar, Eligibility Section of University of Mumbai, Ranade Bhavan, Vidyanagari, Mumbai-400 098 after submitting the application and necessary remittance.
