First List of selected candidates to be displayed on August 21, 2007
Forms and Prospectus for admission to the LL.M Degree Course of the Mumbai University for the academic year 2007-2008 will be available in the Law Department Office from 30th July, 2007 between 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on payment of Rs. 250/- (Rs. 200/- for form and Rs. 50/- for prospectus). Reserved category students who submits their copy of the caste certificates are required to pay only Rs. 25/- for the prospectus.
Completed application should reach the Office of the Department of Law on or before 10th August, 2007 alongwith the certified copies (as per the instruction No. 9 given in the admission form) of the LL.B. (First Year to Final Year) mark sheets.
The 1st list of the candidates selected for admission will be displayed on the Department Notice Board on 21st August, 2007. Selected candidates for admission will have to pay the fees from 21st August, 2007 to 29th August, 2007. Lectures will commence on 21st August, 2007. Lectures will be held from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Candidates selected for admission are allowed to attend the lectures pending the payment of fees. However the fees have to be paid on or before 29th August, 2007, failing which the admission will be cancelled.
The Minimum qualification for a candidate of general category making an application for admission to the LL.M. Degree Course is a second class LL.B. Degree obtained at the one and the same sitting ( without claiming exemption in any papers 2) of this University or a Degree recognized as equivalent thereto. However candidates belonging to reserved category may make an application to the LL.M. Degree course with a pass class.
