The structure of this programme has been designed on a semester pattern and the programme of tudy shall be for a duration of three years through English medium spread over Six Semesters.

Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements

Admission to the First Year Bachelor of Computer Applications programme is open to candidates who have passed the Pre-University / Pre-Degree Examination of a recognised University / +2 / Intermediate / Senior School Certificate examination or any three year Diploma Courses (Polytechnic) conducted by the Central or a State Government or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Academic Council of the Pondicherry Universitywith Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Computer Applications / Computer Science as one of the subjects of study or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed therefor.

Examination Regulations

The Semester Examinations for each Paper will be of a duration of 3 hours. The maximum marks will be 100 and the minimum marks for a pass will be 40.
