Training programme on Modeling in Resource Management & Environment through Geomatics

Department of Geography, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur is organising a four week (1st Dec. 2006 to 30th Dec. 2006) training programme on "Modeling in Resource Management & Environment through Geomatics" under DST schools on Mathematical Modeling in Earth System Sciences. Young lecturers and research scholars may apply on plain paper with photostate copies of all relevant documents having following qualifications:

1. Post-Graduate Degree in Earth System Sciences Discipline having working knowledge in relevant field of Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics, Statistics. Operational Research and Computer Sciences) or its equivalent/Ph D with some teaching/research experience on the same discipline is necessary for participation in the programme. However, the candidates having Post Graduate/Ph.D. degree in Geography (having arts side background) with some R & D / teaching experience can also apply.

2. A candidate who have maximum age of 35 years may apply. In case of SC/ST and women applicants, five years of age relaxation are applicable.

Last date of submission of application is 10th August. 2006 Selection will be made through screening cum selection committee. Selected canaidates will be paid T.A./D.A. as per rules
