About the Course

Food processing has been a sunrise industry for decades. With the advent of foods, it is the need of the hour that students are exposed to such innovative methodologies, processes and versatile machinery used in industries. An advanced course exploring these technologies is the PG course in M.E. Food Tech being offered in the Dept. of FPPT, Faculty of Engg. The highlights of this course would be to fully equip the students in various industrial applications of food processing, preservation, new product development, food analysis and quality control as well as to design and fabricate food processing machinery.
