Admission to New PG Programmes
IIT KHARGPUR

Applications are invited for admission to the following PG programmes introduced from the academic year 2006-07:

1.Two year M Tech in Earth System Science & Technology
2.Two year M Tech in Media and Sound Engineering
3.One year PG Diploma in Rural Development
4.One year PG Diploma in Telecommunication Network Planning and Management

Candidates for programmes 1,2, & 3 should be GATE qualified. Candidates admitted to the MTech programmes will receive assistantship of Rs.5000p.m Programme 4 is self-financed requiring a fee of Rs.75,000 per semester. Filled in application form with a demand draft for application fee (as Applicable) must reach; Chairman, GATE, IIT, Kharagpur, 721302, W.B. not later then 24 June 2006. Short-listed candidates will have to appear for written test and interview on 6 July 2006. Counselling for admission will be held on 7 July 2006, for the candidates selected.
