graduates in any of the following subjects with pass marks in Sanskrit as a
pass/subsidiary subject at the B.A. level - Bengali, Hindi, Oriya, Linguistics,
English, Philosophy, Comparative Religion, History, AIHC&A, Buddhist Studies.
Preference will be given to Honours graduates in Sanskrit.

 

Hindi
Honours graduates in Hindi with 45% marks as well as in aggregate.

 

 

Functional Hindi
B.A. (3 years) in Functional Hindi of Visva-Bharati or B.A. (Hons.) in
Functional Hindi with 45% marks in Hindi as well as in aggregate

3 years degree course in Functional Hindi from any recognised
university / Institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate

1 year P.G. diploma in Functional Hindi from any recognised university /
Institution with at least 45% marks in aggregate

 

 

Oriya
Honours graduate in Oriya

Chinese
Honours graduate in Chinese

 

Indo-Tibetan Studies
3 years Degree (with Honours) or equivalent traditional degree with at least
45% marks in Certificate Course or Diploma Course in Tibetan
Language & Literature

 

Philosophy
Honours graduates in Philosophy with 45% marks in aggregate

 

Comparative Religion
Honours graduates in Comparative Religion, AIHC&A, Sanskrit, Philosophy
or History with 45% marks in aggregate

 

Economics
Honours graduates in Economics with Mathematics as subsidiary subject

 

History
Honours graduates in History with at least 50% marks in aggregate
